Position Description:
**Secret Clearance Required to Start**
Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Evaluates customer and /operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture. Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success. Develops the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes. Resolves cross-functional technical issues.
Additionally....
One or more years experience with System Security Engineering. Required Advanced -Systems Security Engineering (SSE). Candidate must have experience with developing and implementing system security engineering tasks related to assessing threats, vulnerabilities and countermeasures for military aircraft systems.
Should be familiar with system security domains (e.g., information assurance, anti-tamper, intrusion detection, software protection, software assurance, communications security, encryption and key management, network security, reverse engineering, countermeasures, certification and accreditation, special security endorsement) and industry and government guidance and regulations, such as DoD Information Technology Security Certification and Accreditation Process (DITSCAP), which engineers apply to produce secure systems.

Requirements:
Preferred DOORS (Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System) Rational database experience
Preferred DXL (DOORS eXtension Language) Code experience
Prefer RPE (Rational Publishing Engine) experience
Required Intermediate Proficiency - Word, Excel and PowerPoint
MS Office
Education:
Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification.
Additionally.. Must have a BS in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics. Aerospace experience is desired, but not required.
