Position Description:

Position Purpose:
Responsible for participating in the planning, development, and sustainment of Company Aircraft Maintenance Programs and related issues regardless of complexity.

Essential Functions:
1. Share responsibility for planning, developing, and sustainment of new and existing Aircraft Maintenance Programs and engineering projects of major complexity within established scope, meeting requirements of FAR 25.1529 or other applicable regulatory directives.
2. Maintain a current knowledge of developments in the field of specialty and/or other related aircraft fields and provide recommendations to department management for process/procedure changes to prepare for new standards and implementation of new methodologies.
3. Meet cost and schedule requirements while ensuring accuracy and consistency.
4. Develop standards and guides to support Maintenance Programs activities.
5. Mentor other team members in areas relative to Maintenance Programs processes and procedures.
6. Engage with internal/external stakeholders to ensure department deliverables are being met or exceeded.
7. Recommend innovations that improve collaboration, communication, quality, and/or effectiveness of product.
8. Review, and provide feedback on written work of team members.
Requirements:


Unique Skills:
Experience in development of Maintainability Analysis Reports, Reliability Modeling, FMECA and Integrated Logistics Support plans (ILS). Experience using MIL-HDBK-217 Reliability Prediction and MIL-HDBK-472 Maintainability Prediction is highly desired.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelors degree in aviation maintenance, engineering technology, or a related curriculum; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job. A&P license preferred. Six (6) years of Maintenance Programs/Maintainability experience or aircraft maintenance and operational experience.

Other Requirements:
1. Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of MSG-3 and Maintenance Review board (MRB) processes and methodology.
