Position Description: Provides numerical control, machining and programming technical experience. Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility. Plans, creates, verifies and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled equipment required to manufacture and inspect parts, tools and assemblies for departmental work. Plans and guides the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, software and equipment. Works under general direction.

Requirements: Key qualifications, skills, knowledge, etc: Catia NC Programming skills with typically 5 or more years of related experience. Systems and platforms used: Catia V5, Vericut Ver. 7.4.3, Microsoft Office Other additional information: Aerospace metal removal experience including Titanium, Heat Treated Steels & Aluminum. Be able to: Program 3-5 axis NC machines using Catia V5 Validate programs using Vericut Knowledge or aptitude of spindle probing routines Possess the ability to effectively communicate with peers and shop personnel. Education: AA degree and 3+ years of related experience is preferred. Produce high quality work completed in a timely manner. Suggest cost effective process improvements in programs and processes.
