Position Description:
Designs, defines and engineers system architecture for new or existing complex computer systems within a defined business process. Determines and defines systems specifications, input/output processes, context, interface, integration, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system security. Coordinates design of subsystems and their integration into the total system. Uses knowledge of systems engineering, software improvement frameworks, network architecture, system performance analysis, and information system security to identify, analyze, and resolve program deficiencies. Develops and recommends corrective actions, as well as identifies risks and gaps associated with current system constraints. May provide technical guidance for database administrators and software developers.

Requirements:
Experience with data modeling tools
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of IT architecture of multi-sites and enterprise-wide IT solutions
- Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma principles
- Knowledge and understanding of business requirement analysis and design including: documentation of data and system architectures
- Ability to synthesize complex analytical findings into executive level communications
- Knowledge and understanding of data governance challenges and approaches: metadata, data quality, and data stewardship
- Ability to articulate a complex problem, design, or build strategy
- Familiar with The Open Group Architecture Framework and the Process Classification Framework
- Experience with SAP HANA Enterprise in Information Modeling, Database design, Data Provisioning, SAP HANA SQLScript, HANA Live and PAL
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master Degree: Engineering, Computer Science or other technical discipline
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- 5+ years’ experience in data design, data architecture and data modeling (both transactional and analytic), Relational or Dimensional data design and modeling, DDL development and database design
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Duration: Hiring Manager is wanting to hire direct. Candidates must know this position could end earlier than 90 days if Company finds direct hires. Hiring Manger would be interested in contract to direct placement.
