Position Description:
**Secret Clearance Required to Start**
The TSGS P-8A Poseidon Training programs in St. Louis, MO are looking for a senior systems engineer to serve as the Systems Release Train Engineer in support of the state-of-the-art US Navy P-8A Training Devices. The program is responsible for installing and integrating P8 training devices for the US Navy at facilities located in Jacksonville, FL and Whidbey Island, WA. Candidates will belong to a systems engineering team interacting with customers, suppliers, program management, integration and test engineers. The team is also supporting the design and delivery of the P-8 aircrew trainers to the Royal Australian Air Force.

Requirements:
The successful candidate will:
* Facilitate program level processes and execution, escalate and help remove impediments
* Manage program and team risks and dependencies
* Help drive program level continuous improvement
* Support proposal development
* Support preparation for and facilitate the 10-week program increment planning event
* Assist with execution and feature completion tracking
* Facilitate periodic synchronization meetings at the team and program level
* Encourage the collaboration between teams
* Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in lean-agile practices and mindsets
The selected applicant will be a member of a large high-performing, collaborative team and must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, excellent time-management, and interpersonal skills. This team operates in the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to support all aspects of product development. The applicant will be expected to actively help the team to continuously improve and develop innovative and creative solutions to products and processes.
Requirements:
The qualified candidate must have a current Secret clearance, have experience working in an agile framework, and have experience leading a large team.
Assets:
Preferred candidates will have experience working in an agile team as a Scrum Master, in development of systems architecture and design, integration of simulated systems, and/or experience with US Navy Maritime Patrol Aviation assets (P-8A, P-3, HS-60, etc). Familiarity or experience with IT, networking, or Information Assurance is also desirable.
Systems Engineering experience preferred including the use of company standard tools to include ClearCase, ClearQuest, DOORS, BORIS, Windchill, VersionOne and other common tools.
Education / Experience:
Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
