Position Description:
-Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs.
-Analyzes results and performs design reviews.
-Leads the team to analyze results and performs design reviews.
-Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests).
-Documents processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities.
-Develops complex statements of work, metrics, schedules and budgets.
-Performs technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection. Works under minimal direction.
The Company Plant in Ridley Park, PA, is home to the V-22 Osprey Tiltrotor and the H-47 Chinook Helicopter. These aircraft are designed, tested, and manufactured at the site. In addition, the Ridley Park site hosts an Enterprise Support group which provides design and analysis of structural, mechanical, and electrical systems for Company Commercial Aircraft and Military Derivatives. Company employs approximately 5,000 people at the site, more than 250 of them are Electrical Engineers. The plant is situated along the Delaware River approximately 10 miles southwest of Philadelphia, and 2 miles from the international airport.

Requirements:
Skills Preferred: CEEDS, IPDM Intermediate level
5 Years design experience on an aircraft platform
Education:
Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
