Position Description: Evaluates requirements to develop tooling concepts. Assists in developing tool engineering processes and technologies. Develops complex tool and equipment family and individual tool/equipment specification requirement documents. Assists with developing multiple complex tool and equipment concepts and alternatives. Develops complex non-geometric data package (e.g., usage instructions, procurement information, test plan, etc.) to satisfy design release requirements. Develops, authorizes and implements alternative methods and interim solutions for damaged and unsafe tools and equipment to meet functional requirements. Analyzes and revises preventive maintenance requirements for tools. Conducts aerospace tool and equipment disposal analysis and related activities. Participates in tool/equipment try-outs to ensure requirements. Investigates design-engineering changes to maintain engineering configuration and initiates action. Works under general direction.

Requirements: Programs - H47 / V22 / ACRB programs Skill Requirements CATIA V5 - Required (Advanced) MESci - Preferred IPDM - Preferred - Experience is a benefit but not required. Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification.
