Position Description:
**Ability to obtain Secret Clearance Required**
Avionics system design engineers to help define the requirements for vehicle health management solutions for commercial and military platforms. This software will monitor and assess aircraft fault data to provide flight deck and maintenance personnel with appropriate information for assessing the health of the aircraft. There will be both on-board (semi-realtime to realtime) and off-board functionality to this software. The work will include development of throughput/memory requirements, functionality requirements, technical performance measures, risk identification and mitigation, integration activities, and test development and execution. Experience in defining avionics systems requirements in DOORS is a requirement Experience in developing integration & test plans in a large scale, complex system is required. Experience with Agile development methodology is desired. Experience with the Atlassian tool suite is desired. Experience with aircraft health management systems is desired. Experience with subsystem fault detection and reporting is desired. Experience developing systems in a geographically dispersed environment is desired.

DOORS required
Agile methodology required
Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
