Position Description:
Leads and provides technical quality review of the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid systems and thermal environment to establish the system design. Leads activities to validate and verify mechanical and fluid systems requirements. Leads the development, maintenance or modification of system components'' designs/proposals to provide installation and detail documentation. Performs and documents analyses. Manages supplier development, test and production activities and directs the supplier to optimize integration and achieve program goals. Prioritizes, delegates and tracks performance and documentation of analyses of mechanisms/landing gear/ordnance components and systems selecting appropriate methods to validate or assess the design. Supports proposal preparation and new business development efforts. Trains and coaches others. Works under minimal direction.

Requirements:
Highly experienced and skilled Mechanical systems design engineer with experience, knowledge and excellent usage of two (2) major 3D CAD/CAM systems; (1) Catia v5/Enovia and (2) UG NX/Team center
• Catia v5 - 3D CAD/CAM tool, tool suite with knowledge and experience creating MBDs, Relational models, IRMs, ARMs, CARMs, and the IVT tool
o Experienced and skilled in working with Company’s Commercial Enovia PDM tool
o Experienced and skilled in working with Company’s Commercial processes and procedures, such as releasing technical data packages through the BCA release process
• UG-NX - 3D CAD/CAM tool, tool suite with knowledge and experience creating MBDs, CLOs, ALOs, ICMs, Fly-Through models
o Have experience with Company’s BDS – military Team Center (TcE) PDM and BDS’s - release processes
o Experienced and skilled in using with Company’s BDS – military/space Team Center PDM tool
o Experience and skilled in with Company’s BDS – military/space processes and procedures, such as releasing technical data packages through the BDS release process.
