Position Description:

**Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance.**

The Company Company is seeking Communication / Network System Design engineers within Avionics and Flight Controls Engineering organization of the C-17 Military Airlifter Program in Oklahoma City, OK. This is a senior level position in Avionics and Flight Controls Engineering organization of the C-17 Military Airlifter Program in Oklahoma City, OK. Working under the supervision of Lead Engineers, selected candidates will quickly integrate into the team and collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines in the specification, test and support of airborne electronic subsystems including sensors, controls, communications, displays, and processors. The candidate will participate in projects aimed at solving issues and implementing their solutions utilizing Agile methods and processes. The candidate will have the opportunity to work with customers and their Company representatives to obtain feedback for product enhancements and corrective actions.

Tasks may include:
Development of electronic and electrical system solutions
Participation in modification projects for basic hardware and software designs based on platform requirements
Execution of systems and software testing to verify operational and functional requirements
Management of hardware/software suppliers' performance to ensure customer requirements are met
Supporting resolution of product integration & aircraft production issues
Researching new technologies for potential application to C-17
An ideal successful candidate possesses technical and engineering skills already developed while attaining his/her Science degree(s) and entry level work experience. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to work in a team environment within a complex organization is a must. The selected candidate will be tasked to develop solutions to technical problems of limited scope and impact; and to apply solid engineering, scientific, and common sense principles in the context of organizational dynamics and real world cost & schedule targets.

The selected candidate will integrate into our Agile Development teams, where personal attributes that include ownership, responsibility, and commitment are a must. The candidate will be expected to interact professionally with customers, suppliers, field representatives, and fellow engineers. The candidate must be dependable, innovative, an independent thinker, and possess excellent & creative problem solving skills. The candidate should have demonstrated "hands on" capabilities in class projects and/or previous work experience or hobbies. The candidate should also be able to demonstrate through past experience his/her capability to work independently, persevere, and generally "find a way" when roadblocks are encountered.
Requirements:


Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
