Position Description: Reporting to the Engineering Manager the Temporary Design Checker is Responsible for checking and verifying engineering drawings and related documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, quality and use of design standards where work is of a complex nature by performing the following duties. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Verify engineering drawings to best practices and standards • Works with engineering personal to resolve discrepancies • Redline drawings in electronic format and communicates back to engineering team • Must be able to work independently and as a team • Performs other related tasks as required

Requirements: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: • Must have a solid understanding of Microsoft offices including excel, word, and outlook • Must have the ability to read 3D models, drawings, and Bill of Materials • Must have excellent communication skills • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and 2-5 years of experience or seven plus years related experience and/or training PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Familiarity with NX9 • Familiarity with Teamcenter engineering • Familiarity with aerospace standards • Familiarity with Adobe Reader
