Position Description:
**Must be able to Obtain Secret Clearance**
The successful candidate will:
• Be part of a dynamic, mature agile team responsible for the full software lifecycle.
• Develop open source and standards based software used to support a multi-disciplined engineering staff during all phases of the development of Operational Flight Program (OFP) software for AH-64 and AH-6 helicopter programs.
• Use a disciplined approach for the design, development, test, deployment, and documentation of the engineering environment employed in the course of developing and testing embedded software.
• Have a passion for developing high quality code.
Job Description:
This position leverages the following skills and abilities: Experience with development of software applications, using object oriented design techniques (specifically in Java), designed to make Engineering activities more efficient and produce higher quality products. Experience in developing web-based and Windows/Unix applications that integrate with and/or interface with large scale databases.
This work associated with this position employs advanced concepts such as multi-tiered web architectures, RESTful interfaces, and advanced data models supporting terabytes of engineering data. This position involves supporting a broad customer base. The ability to multi-task between application development, software maintenance, software fault analysis, field service activities, and customer support and training is a plus.

Requirements:
Prefer degree(s) in Software or Computer Engineering. In addition to Java programming experience, the following skills and abilities will be considered a plus: experience as Software Librarian in charge of configuration management, compilation and build processes; experience programming in the C/C++ programming languages; experience developing Eclipse based applications; experience programming in database languages such as PL/SQL; experience with agile software processes, experience with web development.
Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 2 or more years' experience, Master's with 1 or more years' experience.
