Position Description:

The 777X is seeking strong candidates to drive Total Productive Maintenance on our Production Critical Assets. Successful candidates will have substantial experience with automated equipment startup, integration & optimization. Particular focus on development of Machine Failure Modes & Effect Analysis, with the ability to interpret results and turn them into preventative maintenance plans and min/max spares. Also critical to the role is ability to apply root cause corrective action problem solving to new production equipment. Team members will be applying Operational Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) continuous improvement methods to drive production system improvements. Finally, the ability to translate technical details into front line training for machine operators and maintenance technicians is highly desirable. Successful candidates will be working in a dynamic environment with broad cross functional team members.
Develops program and project requirements, develops highly complex equipment and tooling concepts and designs solutions, including alternatives for the Production System. Validates analysis of technical data, influences product engineering design and makes robotics, automation or technical recommendations to support production system integration for a aerospace products. Leads the creation and modification of equipment and tooling definition at the program level. Executes project plans, provides input to Make/Buy decisions and partners with Procurement to meet program schedule, cost and quality targets. Ensures compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements. Leads gated reviews and develops plans for production readiness, preventative maintenance and spares. Validates contractual performance milestones. Develops and implements work-arounds and maintains configuration of hardware, software and documentation. Conducts studies and make recommendation for disposition of assets.
Requirements:


Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
