Position Description: **Position is for 3rd Shift** Defines requirements for materials, parts and processes used in the manufacture of products. Knowledgeable of specifications and other documents to manage the deployment of materials, parts and processes. Promotes standardization across business activities. Evaluates emerging technologies for potential application to business needs. Develops and qualifies new materials, parts and processes to meet requirements. Integrates new technologies as appropriate. Conducts analysis to determine reasons for failures of materials, parts or processes. Implements corrective and preventive actions. Develops and qualifies production systems to satisfy user requirements. Works under general direction. Responsible for implementing automated equipment and processes for use on 777-9 airplane composite wing assembly. Job responsibilities will include the daily production support of equipment and processes on 3rd shift plus weekend days as needed with a focus on automated drilling and fastening in CFRP, Al, & Ti, and supporting operations/processes.

Requirements: Aircraft structures assembly Assembly Process Drilling Robotics Process Automation Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification.
