Position Description:
**Secret Clearance Required to Start**
The Company Company is currently seeking highly motivated engineers with design and test experience to support safety critical real time embedded Vehicle Management System (VMS) software development, integration and test.
These VMS will provide mission critical guidance and control for a wide variety of Company fixed wing, weapons and proprietary programs. Work will be performed at the Company St. Louis area campus locations supporting Company Phantom Works, Company Strike, Surveillance and Mobility (SSM), and other Company business areas.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Leads the development of complex architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for real time embedded software systems supporting a diverse set of VMS platforms
• Leads the integration of complex software components into a fully functional software systems to meet a wide variety of mission goals and customers
• Develops software verification plans, test procedures and test environments
• Execute tests at multiple levels to verify VMS software performance
• Defines state of the art software development practices, processes and tools to create a world class production system for VMS software and related products
• Leads and directs the integration of supplier provided software and systems with Company developed components to create complete VMS systems
• Serve as a senior subject matter expert for VMS software domains, support cross program development efforts, reviews and issue resolution

Requirements:
Basic Qualifications (Required):
• Experience with and knowledge of real time embedded system architectures and designs
• Real time software domain knowledge including common Basic Qualifications (Required):
• Experience with and knowledge of real time embedded system architectures and designs
• Real time software domain knowledge including common programming languages used in real time systems
• Minimum of 14 years or more experience developing real time embedded software components
• Knowledge of real time target environments
Desired Qualifications Experience:
• Ada, C, C++ coding experience
• Experience developing VMS software and / or associated real time simulation systems
• Ability to lead and interface with various project teams, management, Suppliers, and Company technical support
programming languages used in real time systems
• Minimum of 14 years or more experience developing real time embedded software components
• Knowledge of real time target environments
Desired Qualifications Experience:
• Ada, C, C++ coding experience
• Experience developing VMS software and / or associated real time simulation systems
• Ability to lead and interface with various project teams, management, Suppliers, and Company technical support
Bachelor's degree with 14 or more years' experience, Master's degreee with 12 or more years' experience or PhD with 9 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
