Position Description: ***Must Be a U.S. Citizen*** Looking for early career structural analysis engineer to support Company Defense, Space and Security in the Puget Sound region of Washington State; providing support to the Presidential Airplane Recapitalization Program (VC-25B), the Poseidon Program (P-8) and/or the Puget Sound Design Center (including the T-X program). Job responsibilities may include internal loads (FEM), static, fatigue, and/or damage tolerance stress analysis to support program design, fabrication, testing, and/or structural integrity activities. Performs basic structural analysis using well defined analysis tools to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance. Supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications. Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied. Supports in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements. Works under general supervision.

Requirements: Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Nastran Patran • Must have at least a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aeronautics/Aerospace, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. • Must be a U.S. Citizen • At least 2 or more years experience in structural or mechanical systems analysis or finite element analysis • Experience with stress, fatigue, and/or damage tolerance analysis on primary structural components or mechanical systems
