Company Global Services is seeking a Technical Data Designer to support the U.S. Navy P-8 Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) program at the Fort Walton Beach, FL site. The selected candidate will get the unique experience to develop PSE technical publications that has been specially designed and created for the P-8 aircraft.

Position Responsibilities:
Develop draft illustrations or provide mark-ups.
Update publications elements based on internal/external reviews, source data changes and equipment modifications.
Collects, research and analyze source data and validates source data to include equipment requirements, maintenance concepts, task analysis documentations, work flows and concept of design to determine impact to technical publications.
Analyze technical requirements to determine project scope and deliverables.
Resolve source data gaps and inconsistencies with originator.
Assist with estimating impact of the proposal or changes to the publication elements.
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Requirements:


Aviation experience is preferred; Techincal Background

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Knowledge and work experience of support equipment maintenance or repair and/or; Bachelor’s Degree or above within Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering or a closely related discipline
Minimum of two years’ experience reading and interpreting aerospace engineering drawings and specifications.
Strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

3 or more years’ experience reading and interpreting aerospace engineering drawings and specifications.
Experience maintaining aircraft Ground Support Equipment.
Experience with Microsoft applications.
Experience with SGML.

Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years' related work experience).
