Position Description:
**Security Clearance: This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.**
Leads activities to develop, document and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems. Leads development of code and integration of complex software components into a fully functional software system. Develops software verification plans, test procedures and test environments, executing the test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met. Provides technical leadership for software projects and leads software supplier management activities. Leads development, selection, tailoring and deployment of processes, tools and metrics. Plans, executes and documents software research and development projects. Serves as a subject matter expert for software domains, system-specific issues, processes and regulations. Tracks and evaluates software team and supplier performance to ensure product and process conformance to project plans and industry standards. Works under minimal direction.
Responsibilities Include:
•Work in Agile team environment to develop, test and deploy software in Microsoft Technology Stack with .Net Core, C#
•Develop using containerized software with Dockers, Micro-services
•Design and write S.O.L.I.D clean, scalable code and develop highly scalable APIs and services
•Perform code reviews and provide feedback on code quality and best practices
•Develop documentation and design materials, while recommending best design practices
•Take responsibility for technical problem solving, creatively meeting product objectives, and developing best practices
•Embrace our culture, with an emphasis on contributing ideas, thoughts, and constructive feedback
•Use responsive web design to provide an optimal experience across all devices
•Create rich, interactive user-experiences with modern technologies with a focus on performance, scalability, security and maintainability

Requirements:
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
Required to obtain Medium Assurance Certificate (i.e. IdenTrust)
•Experience in .Net Core or ASP.NET MVC, Web Api & Microservices
•C# programming
•3+ years of experience in software development life cycles, configuration management and best agile software engineering practices
•Working knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
•Bachelors of Science (or greater) from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry
•Experience with software development frameworks, such as Spring, React, Angular and Swagger API
•3+ years of experience in Object Oriented Design Principles
Desired Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
•Experience working in Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI/CD) using appropriate code versioning, build and test automation tools
•experience with development & deployment on Cloud platforms such as Azure, PCF, OpenShift and AWS
•Experience working with Test Planning and Automation
•Experience with Git
•Experience in Rest API development
•Experience mentoring subordinates and/or junior personnel
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
