Position Description: Design the installation and integration of electrical/electronics subsystems, equipment, and components. This includes the routing design for wiring, housing, enclosures, brackets, and thermal control. It also includes selection of wiring and connectors; design of logic circuitry and consoles; and developing the design layout and drawing releases for electrical interconnections that account for heat transfer, shock and vibration, and fabrication processing methods. Responsibilities include design and recommendation of improved processes; and coordination of design work with related engineering groups, manufacturing and customer support departments.
