Position Description: **Interim Secret Clearance Required to Start** Multiple Vehicle Management System (VMS) software engineers are needed to support new program activities. The software engineers on this effort will design, implement, and test real-time embedded software for a redundant Vehicle Management System as well as participate in its integration into the overall system. The VMS software will be primarily written in Ada95 or C++ with some C. It will be developed using a set of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) tools including DOORS, Visual Studio, Green Hills AdaMULTI, ClearCase/ClearQuest and a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS). The software will be tested using a test environment and scripting language on both the PC desktop and target hardware environment. A strong interest in or previous experience with VMS or digital flight control systems is desired. Previous experience with software thread analysis or software safety analysis highly desired. Position requires a current Secret Clearance - US Citizenship Required or equivalent (Refer to Security Clearance Definitions link above). Requirements: ADA C++ Candidates should have experience in real-time embedded software development that includes requirements development through integration test phases. Knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis & Design, Ada, C/C++, C#, ClearCase/ClearQuest, and DOORS is highly desirable. Broad-based knowledge and experience in embedded software design, support, and development are strongly desired. Bachelor's degree with 14 or more years' experience, Master's degreee with 12 or more years' experience or PhD with 9 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
