Position Description:

**Requires Interim Secret Clearance to Start**

Company Training Systems and Government Services (TSGS), located in St. Louis, MO, is seeking a Project Engineer to assume an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead role proactively leading efforts in a highly dynamic environment developing and sustaining the KC-46 Maintenance Training System (MTS).
In this role, the project engineer will ensure coordination of program activities between Program Managers, customers, suppliers, supplier management and the training systems capability teams to ensure program success. The successful candidates will be the primary IPT technical focal and point of contact for both external and internal customer interface and coordination activities to ensure customer requirements and expectations are met.
This individual will be responsible for leading support activities related to the KC-46 MTS program to include coordinating all of MTS logistics and site activation activities supporting facilities, installation, testing and sustainment of the MTS on site.
Additionally, this individual will have IPT responsibility for KC-46 MTS reliability, maintainability and availability requirements, spares, site activation and shipping as well as, training, and fielding the Training System Support Center (TSSC) and Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) teams. This individual will also serve as the engineering liaison between the external program organizations and Tapestry Solutions in their efforts to execute the Network Architecture and Cybersecurity aspects of the program.

Further responsibilities of the Project Engineer include:
• Provide engineering leadership to the team
• Develop Statement of Works (SOW) to satisfy research and development, ongoing and new business requirements
• Identify and manage changes to the SOWs, assesses the impact of those changes and incorporates changes into the SOW
• Negotiate proposed changes to determine modifications to deliverables, resources, costs and schedules
• Lead project execution to complete work statements
• Ensure technical correctness and consistency of products and services
• Compare actual results to baseline plans to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity, and lessons learned
• Identify corrective actions to improve project or team performance
• Provide technical, business and integration leadership for the development and execution of project or team plans
• Lead independent and customer program reviews
• Actively work with the customer to identify current and emerging requirements
• Develop and manage IPT inputs into the Integrated Master Schedule
• Develop and manage IPT risk, issues and opportunities
• Coordinate and manage Training Systems Capability (TSC) execution metrics with the programs
Requirements:


Preferred Qualifications:
- Project management experience
- Experience leading projects
- Knowledge of the maintenance of Tanker and/or Transport aircraft
- Fielding the Training System Support Center (TSSC) and Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) teams

Typical Education & Experience:
Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
