Position Description: Hiring Manager said this would be "a day in the life" for the candidate: Buying services and outsourcing pieces of work. Sourcing. Offloading SOW. Service procurement - offload packages of work for internal fabrication (incomplete parts to sources to perform a service or process to finish the incomplete product). Place POs, Quoting. Working with Supplier or Vendor. Negotiating pricing. Delivery status. Communicating pieces back to internal customers. Conducts, manages and maintains synchronization of a supply chain for obtaining goods and services for the company. Interfaces with internal and external customers and suppliers. Performs part or all of the following - Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements. - Develops requests for quotations and proposals, analyzes supplier responses, negotiates and awards contracts, and manages post award supplier activities. Interfaces with internal and external customers and suppliers. - Manages inventory levels, simulation, modeling forecasting data, and supplier performance. Monitors customer inventory demand and material assets to optimize total supply chain planning. Incorporates planning decisions from customers and suppliers to reduce material and product variability, and arrive at optimal solutions.

Requirements: Must be Customer focused and able to work in a fast paced environment. MUST HAVE PROCUREMENT background, SAP and Negotiations is NEEDED. PURCHASED SERVICES / OFFLOAD work experience is what this position is calling for in a candidate. Please look for "Indirect" procurement candidates. High energy candidate/ready to learn. SKILLS NEEDED: - Contract negotiations and procurement of consumables and services - SAP is a plus ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: - 1 year contract - 1st Shift - OT is possible - No Travel Bachelor's and 6 to 9 years' related work experience, a Master's degree and 4 to 7 years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience-
