Position Description: **Interim Secret Clearance required to start** Company Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking additional Software Engineers. The successful candidate will be part of the team working with the US Navy to develop, integrate, and test up to seven air and ground systems through initial operational capability. Primary Responsibilities: Selected candidates will work as part of the Mission Systems software team in full cycle software development for the Command and Control System software: o Lead and participate in software requirements development o Develop software services in C++ and Java o Develop and execute unit and integration testing o Analyze problem reports and develop corrections for delivered products o Support system test, aircraft delivery, and ground and flight-based test events

Requirements: Desired Qualifications • At least 5 years of experience programming in C++ and Java • Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows development • Experience in Agile Software Development methodologies • Experience with the Atlassian toolset • Experience in development of software for virtual machines • Experience with test automation and continuous integration and deployment Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification.
